Spivey Hall Young People’s Concert Season Opens October 10

Clayton State University's Spivey Hall will open its' 2012-13 Young People’s Concert season on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 9:45 a.m. The program will feature a world music performance by Via Romen. This group will perform Russian-Romany ("gypsy") music on native instruments,including guitar, violin, accordion, and bass. The group also incorporates gypsy dance and traditional costumes. The Young People’s Concert Series will feature a variety of classical, world music, jazz, and early childhood education concerts.
