Tennis tournament at International Park

The HBCU National Tennis Championships will be held Thursday, October 27 through Saturday, October 29 at International Park in Jonesboro. The three day tournament will feature 70 matches per day and 140 top players representing NCAA Division I, II and NAIA, programs from historically black colleges and universities.
Among the schools participating will be Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University, as well as the five-time defending champion Florida A&M men’s team and Southern University’s Lady Jaguars, who will be competing for their fourth consecutive championship. Players will be competing for national titles, trophies, and $1000 prizes for their schools. Prize packages will be awarded to both men's and women's teams.
Sponsors include Clayton County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the USTA Diversity and Inclusion, USTA Southern and USTA Florida, COAN Tennis Association, Rainbow Tennis League, Goody4U Inc. and the Williams Property Group.
