Larry Carney of McDonough passed away April 4, 2003, at the age of 60. He is survived by his wife, Alma Carney; daughter and son-in-law, Natal and Tommy Heard; granddaughter, Alyssa Heard; sisters Linda Tinsley and Gladys Dixon; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel with Pastor Robert Denson Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Warren Jackson Lee
Warren Jackson Lee, 65, of Stockbridge, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Henry Medical Center.
Lee was born Aug. 22, 1937, in Screven County, Ga., to the late Wilbur Earl Lee Sr. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Green Fort Baptist Church in Millen, Ga. He retired from the Inland Container Company and was working part time for Kangaroo Stores.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Bernice Lambert Lee; mother, Mazie Clayton Lee of Sylvania; sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony Warren Lee, and Kenneth Wade Lee and Dawn Marie Lee, all of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Shana, Devyn, Meghan, Jacob Lee and Nathan Jeffrey Jackson Lee; brother, Wilbur Lee Jr. of Wrens; sisters, Dot Wainwright of Savannah, Helen Stinson of North Carolina, Linda Hendricks and Sue Cooley of Lake Sinclair; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Haisten Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen, and interment to follow in Sylvania Memorial Park.
