Weather halts prep baseball contests

By Jeffery Armstrong

Heavy rains from Thursday night that lasted into Friday morning forced the cancellation of several Southern Crescent high school baseball games slated for Friday night.

Three of the four Henry County teams were scheduled to host games Friday, but none got their games in.

Henry County was scheduled to host rival Warner Robins, Houston County was to travel to Eagle's Landing and Stockbridge was to play host to Morrow. In Clayton County, Mt. Zion at Jonesboro was rained out as well. No makeup games have been scheduled yet.
