Raymond Z. Adams
Mr. Raymond Z. Adams, 86, of Riverdale passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2003.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the son of Will G. and Lilla (Clack) Adams. He was preceded in death by brothers John, Hiram, Claude, Horace, and Branson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Paula (Sammie) Dee Tatum-Wheeler.
Mr. Adams is survived by wife, Nancy; two daughters, Carol Adams of Riverdale, Ga.; and Judy and husband, Kevin Clark of Lake Butler, Fla.; grandson, Brady Clark of Lake Butler, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Frances Adams and Carrie Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27 in the chapel at Parkway Garden Chapel, with interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26.
Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may make contributions to Portsbridge Hospice in memory of Mr. Raymond Z. Adams.

Clinton E. Anthony
Mr. Clinton E. Anthony, of Riverdale, died April 24, 2003.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, LeQuita Anthony of Riverdale; children, Sherry Hanson of Fayetteville, Tammy Dee Conner of Fayetteville, Darren Keith Anthony of McDonough; brother, Michael Earl Anthony of Columbus; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 26 at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 7527 Bishop Road, Fairburn, Ga., with the remains placed in state at 1 p.m. The Rev. Jerry Plott and the Rev. Luther Burns are officiating. Interment will take place at Westminster Memorial Gardens.

Capt. Ralph "Frank" Waldrip
Capt. Ralph "Frank" Waldrip (retired), 72, of Stockbridge, Ga., passed away on April 24, 2003 at Southern Regional Medical Center. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Waldrip was also a retired Clayton County police officer and court bailiff. He was also a member of the Peace Officers Association.
Mr. Waldrip was survived by his wife, Rhoda Waldrip of Stockbridge, Ga.; three daughters, Sharon and her husband Thomas Israel of McDonough, Ga.; Jennifer and her husband Jack Bryan of McDonough; and Kathleen and her husband Pat Cochran of Stockbridge; two sons, Stuart Thomas Waldrip of Stockbridge, Ga. and Willis and his wife Vickie Wade of Temple, Ga.; five grandchildren, Allison Bryan and her husband Allen Jolley, Will Bryan, Zachary Israel, Jake Israel and Kaci Cochran; great-grandchildren, Kevin Jolley; sister, Azzie Johnson of Decatur, Ala.; three sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Moore of McDonough, Ga. Essie Lee of Ellisville, Miss. And Billie Ponder of Laurel, Miss; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Capt. Waldrip will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at Parkway Garden Chapel at 4 p.m., with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, 2003 from 2 until 4 p.m. and again from 6 until 8 p.m.

Melissa Patton Wolfenbarger, 25, of Atlanta.
She is survived by her children, Christina Marie Wolfenbarger and Joseph A-A Wolfenbarger of Locust Grove; parents, Carl and Norma Patton; sister, Tina Mae Patton of East Point; half-brother, Carl M. Patton of Ocala, Fla.; and niece and nephews, James and Kimberly Woodfin and Davey Burns.

William C. Amerson Jr.
William C. "Dub" Amerson Jr. of McDonough died Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Southern Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 87 of Jonesboro, a member of the Evangelaires Quarter for four years and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Dorothy Amerson of McDonough; his mother, Corine Amerson of Stockbridge; daughters, Karol and Bill Burell of Jonesboro and Kris and Rich Roberts of Covington; sons, Russell and Josie Amerson of Jonesboro and William and Vicki Amerson of Suwanee; grandchildren, Heather Kirby, Misty Amerson, Bonnie Burell, Stephanie Amerson, Jennifer Amerson, Tara Elizabeth Amerson and William A. Burell.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Calvary Baptist Church in Morrow, with the Rev. Herman Wike officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas L. Scroggs Parkway Garden Chapel, 1000 Forest Parkway, Forest Park. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park.

Ann Mae Burpee Thompson Eubanks of Lake City died Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Crawford Long Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Ozzie Eubanks of Lake City; daughters, Rhonda Ann and Jeff Cole of McDonough, Angela Hope and Rod Guarnett of Locust Grove; son, Christopher T. and Vicki Thompson of Locust Grove; sisters Virginia Hogue of Riverdale, Maxine Mobley of Fairburn, Viola Thompson of East Point, and Sue Smith of Forest Park; five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Craig Carl Thompson and daughter Carlene Susan Thompson.
Services will be held at Parkway Garden Chapel at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2003, with Pastor Bob McCurry officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
