Kelly Vivianne Jeffrey

Infant Kelly Vivianne Jeffrey, daughter of Bill and Wendy Jeffrey of Stockbridge, died Aug. 8, 2003. In addition to her parents, survivors include brother Andrew Jeffrey; grandparents, Helen and Bobby Jeffrey of Sheridan, Ark., and Bill and Tammy Coburn of Fayetteville; great-grandmother Dorothy Coburn of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, from Fairview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jay Hodges officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital or the First United Methodist Church of Stockbridge Building Fund. James Elbert Moore

The Rev. James Elbert Moore, 77, of Hampton, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Piedmont Hospital.

Moore was born July 7, 1926, in Flovilla, Ga., to the late Samuel Whitt Moore and the late Maude Barnett Moore. He was preceded in death by brothers, S.J. Moore and Wilbur Moore and a sister, Velma Moore Pittard. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was retired from Kmart. He had been an ordained minister for 47 years in the Baptist church. He had been the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Lisbon Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Sharon Baptist Church in Ola, Jenkinsburg Baptist Church in Jenkinsburg and Luella Baptist Church in Luella. He also served as interim pastor for Philippi Baptist Church in Locust Grove, Hampton First Baptist Church and Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton. He had served as teacher of the J.O.Y. Sunday school class at Liberty Hill Baptist Church until May 2003.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Hammonds Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pam Moore of Greenville, S.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Terry "Bo" Conkle of Hampton; grandchildren, Carol Lynn and Harry Davis of Greenville, S.C., Dylan Conkle, Taylor Conkle and Hunter Conkle, all of Hampton; great-grandchildren, Celeste Davis, Jerry Lee Davis, Matthew Tyler Davis and Alexandria Rose Davis, all of Greenville, S.C.; sister, Francis Moore Nichols of Abbeyville, Ala.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. The Revs. Jeff Gongwer and Mike Henderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.

He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Friends may visit the family Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Reverend Moore.
