Robert M. Maxwell Mr. Robert M. Maxwell, 90, of Forest Park, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003. He was a member of Conley First Baptist Church. Mr. Maxwell was preceded in death by his great grandson, Connor James Warren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 in the chapel of the funeral home, with Dr. Joe Slocomb officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Grace Maxwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie and Bob Smith of Douglasville, and Robin and Al Gunnels of Douglasville; sister, Clarice Ballou of Fayetteville; brothers, W.C. Maxwell of Fayette, and O.B. Maxwell of Lilburn; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends today from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
