Don Watkins Sr. Retired Mr. Don Watkins Sr., 67, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003. Mr. Watkins was a devoted family man and retired from Clayton State College with 15 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at Pope Dickson & Son Morrow Chapel, with the Rev. Lindberg Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Mr. Watkins is survived by his loving wife, Eva B. Watkins of Morrow; daughters, Luann Holbrook of Ecorse, Mich. and Wanda W. Hawkins of Morrow; daughter-in-law, Cindy Daniel of McDonough; sons, Don Watkins Jr. of McDonough and William Watkins of Morrow; grandchildren, James Watkins, Benjamin Watkins, Woody Holbrook, Lisa Holbrook, Katrina Daniel, Jaclyn Daniel, and Tiffany Daniel; great-grandchild, Makayla Daniel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22. Pope Dickson & Son, Morrow Chapel is in charge of arrangements. (770) 961-2700.More like this story
