Woodroe Junior McKeehan, age 73, of McDonough, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003.
He was born in Sweetwater, Tenn., and had lived in the Atlanta area 57 years. Mr. McKeehan was the owner of McKeehan Contractors. He was an active member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, enjoyed all types of sports, and golf. A service celebrating the life of Mr. McKeehan will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 at Pinecrest Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roy Mack and Dr. Raymond Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mary Ann McKeehan; children, Jimmy McKeehan, Charles McKeehan, Larry McKeehan, Helen Tanner, Kay Dodson, Karen Burell, Kathy Boyd, Brian Carter, and Ricky McKeehan; sisters, Ann Williams, Ruby Gable, Johnnie Maddox, and Ethel Huro; brothers, Jim McKeehan and Earnest McKeehan, all of Sweetwater; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:40 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
