Robert E. (Hutch) Hutchens Robert E. (Hutch) Hutchens, 73, of Morrow died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003. Born in Sheridan, Ind., Robert served in the United States Army. He retired from the Department of Defense after 35 years of distinguished service and was recognized by the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Outstanding Achievement as a member of the Office of Inspector General. He was a member of Police Benevolence in Morrow. An avid golfer, Robert also worked at Lake Spivey Country Club. His parents, Russell and Laverne Hutchens, and grandson, Drew Hutchens, preceded him in death. Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Lou Hutchens; children, Don Hutchens (Nancy) of Sewanee, Tenn.; Ron Hutchens (Rayliene) of Senoia, Bill Hutchens (Cathy) of New Bern, N.C., Kathy Barry (Randy) of Bonaire, Robbie Hutchens (Donna) of McDonough, and Andy Hutchens (Misty) of Stockbridge; brother, Charles Hutchens of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters, Mary Inskeep (Don), also of Indianapolis, and Bonnie West of Madisonville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, William V. Wood (Eva) of Willow St., Pa.; and 15 grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Go to www.mcculloughfh.com to sign the online registry for the family. McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Sarah Yancey Sarah Yancey of Forest Park died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003. Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by her husband, Andrus Yancey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Park. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the First Baptist Church of Forest Park with the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Lamar Shields of Jonesboro; sisters, Ruth Foster of McDonough and Dorothy Turner of Macon; sisters-in-law, Margie Litteral of Forest Park and Mary Yancey of Tyrone; nieces and nephews.
