Mrs. Carmen Rosa Hinds of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at Laurel Park of Henry Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at Camp Memorial Park. Interment will follow.

Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Silbernagel of Jonesboro; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Richard Hughes York Jr., age 63, of Jonesboro died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his sisters, Kay Garrett and Pat Lindsey.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at New Hope Baptist Church North with the Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Williams York; daughters, Lisa York of Dallas, Texas and Tammy Triplett of Jonesboro; son, Daniel York of Lake Wayne, S.C.; sisters, Dot Meier of McDonough, Carol Layton of Lakeland, Fla., Mary Prine of St. Augustine, Fla., Sherrill Russ of Cape Sand Blast, Fla., and Deborah Shipley of Jonesboro; brother, Bill York of Rex; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
