Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering a new program for fans who don't want to be saddled with driving to the races. For the first time, Atlanta Motor Speedway has teamed up with the Henry County Convention and Visitors Bureau to offer round-trip shuttle packages for the Oct. 26 Georgia 500 race.
For just $30, fans can ride to and from the Georgia 500 Winston Cup race without worrying about race traffic. These luxury shuttles come equipped with air conditioning, televisions and restrooms.
Shuttles will depart at 7 a.m. from two different Henry County locations - Tanger Outlet Center (exit 212 off I-75) in Locust Grove and Henry Town Center (exit 221 off I-75) in McDonough.
All shuttle passengers will be dropped off and picked up in the bus parking lot of Atlanta Motor Speedway, located adjacent from the ticket office and condo building at Gate 1 (in front of the Petty Grandstand). Shuttles will depart within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the race.
Seats on the shuttle are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be reserved ahead of time. They can be reserved by visiting the Henry County CVB website at www.henrycvb.com or by calling (770) 957-5786.
Fans looking for a complete hotel, ticket and shuttle package are also encouraged to visit www.henrycvb.com or www.atlantamotorspeedway.com for details on the AMS for LESS discount weekend packages available. Weekend packages start at $350 and include three days of tickets to AMS events, two nights' hotel stay at a nearby hotel, round-trip shuttle packages and discount restaurant coupons. For more information call (800) 436-7926 and ask for Julie Foster.
These packages are just one more way Atlanta Motor Speedway and the Henry County CVB can say "thank you" to the many fans who have been loyal to racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway throughout the years.
