Mrs. Hazel Woodruff Banks, age 85, of McDonough died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Henry Medical Center.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Forsyth, and a resident of Baptist Inn where she was one of their pianists. Mrs. Banks was born in Lithia Springs, Ga. Oct. 11, 1917, daughter of the late Annie Lula Crouch and Wesley Willis Woodruff. Her husband, William Aubert Banks, who died Jan. 24, 1962, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28 at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
Survivors include her children, Emily and Bobby McKinnon of McDonough, Bill and Cathi Banks of Birmingham, Ala., Grady and Jo Coggins of Conyers, Connie and Ward Hall of Phoenix City, Ala., and Tim and Debra Banks of Ball Ground, Ga.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Yeng Hong Eng of Jonesboro died Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27 at Parkway Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, James Kav; daughter, infant Kav; father, Pheng Siv Eng; mother, Penh Ouk; sister, Jin Hong Eng; brothers, Cheung Yingh, Sang Yingh, and Arn Yingh Eng; mother-in-law, Rleng Chhoy; brothers-in-law, Yin and Arn Kav; sisters-in-law, Var Kav and Touch Srey Mam; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
