Stephen Michael Hampton

Stephen Michael Hampton, age 17, of Locust Grove, passed away Friday, June 6, 2003, at his residence.

Stephen was born Oct. 31, 1985, in Hyannis, Mass. He was a member of Community Bible Church and was a student at Jonesboro High School. He worked as a lifeguard at Atlanta Beach and loved the outdoors, where he enjoyed baseball and hunting.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8 in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Dr. Jack Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Family Cemetery in Barnesville.

Survivors include his parents, Clayton Hampton and Joy Brown Hampton of Locust Grove; sisters and brothers-in-law, Julie and Kyle Lewis of Locust Grove, Kristi and Chris Gott of Jackson, and Katie and Jason Terry of Gainesville; maternal grandparents, Betty Brown of Locust Grove, and W.O. and Sheila Brown of Jonesboro; niece, Kaitlyn Gott; nephews, Austin, Tristan, and Luke Lewis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Friends may visit the family today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Harvey Lee

Mr. Harvey Lee of Riverdale passed away Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the age of 72.

Mr. Lee owned and operated Mildred's Farmhouse Cafeteria in College Park.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, June 7 at the chapel, with the Rev. Earl Pirkle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Lee; sons, Jim Lee, Todd Lee, Mack Buice, Kenny Buice, and Dale Buice; sisters, Marie and Betty; brother, Herbert Lee; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Edna Wadsworth

Mrs. Edna Wadsworth, age 81, of Sharpsburg, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8 in the chapel. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Langley of Sharpsburg, Gale Yates of Collins, Miss., and Cecilia Brooks of Sharpsburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
