Loy Alexander Lowe
Mrs. Loy Alexander Lowe of McDonough died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Mocksville, N.C., daughter of the late Lula Messick and James William Alexander. She was a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and McDonough Women's Club, a Volunteer with Henry Medical Auxiliary, and a former Girl Scout Leader. Her husband, John Edwin Lowe, preceded her in death in 1977.
A private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at McDonough First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mack Riley officiating.
Survivors include her
children, Sue and Jerry Allmon of Byron, Ga., Vicki and George Davis of Smyrna, and Richard Lowe of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Greg Allmon, Jason Allmon, and Alix Davis; great-grandchildren, Malry Allmon and Greggory Allmon.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
