Louise Fargason Bowen
Mrs. Louise Fargason Bowen, 96, of Kennesaw, Ga. and formerly of Stockbridge died Wednesday, June 11, 2003.
Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bowen, and son, Charles Julian Bowen. Mrs. Bowen was a life-long member of Union United Methodist Church and prior to her death was the oldest member.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13 from Union United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wallace Whelles officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Bowen and his wife, Dale of Williamson, Ga.; daughters, Martha Thornton and Joyce Potochnik of Kennesaw; granddaughters, Jan Flowers and husband, Kent, and Jody Edge and husband, Stacey; grandsons, Ernest (Buddy) Thornton, Charlie Thornton, Jerry Flenikin and wife, Terry, Jay Flenikin and wife, Francisca, Jim Flenikin, and Nathan Bowen and wife, Antonia; great-grandchildren, Bowen, John David and Bethany Flowers, Lauren Edge, Jacob, Alexander and Haley Flenikin.
The family will receive friends at Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Loy Alexander Lowe
Mrs. Loy Alexander Lowe of McDonough died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Mocksville, N.C., daughter of the late Lula Messick and James William Alexander. She was a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and McDonough Womens Club, a Volunteer with Henry Medical Auxiliary, and a former Girl Scout Leader. Her husband, John Edwin Lowe, preceded her in death in 1977.
A private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today Thursday, June 12 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12 at McDonough First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mack Riley officiating.
Survivors include her children, Sue and Jerry Allmon of Byron, Ga., Vicki and George Davis of Smyrna, and Richard Lowe of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Grey Allmon, Jason Allmon, and Alix Davis; great-grandchildren, Malry Allmon and Greggory Allmon.
