Nevlayn Weldon Moore
Nevlayn Weldon Moore, age 63, of Learh Lane, Ellijay and formerly of McDonough passed Thursday, June 12, 2003, at her residence.
She was a graduate of Henry County High School, Class of 1957, receiving a B.A. degree from Emory University, Class of 1961, and was a retiree of Bell South as a Contract Products Manager.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 15 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Naylor officiating.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Moore of the home in Ellijay; children and in-laws, Marie and Steve Greenwood of Gastonia, N.C., Leslie Tudor of Washington, D.C., and Victoria and Dan McKay of Stanley, N.C.; five grandchildren; mother, Thelma Lavern Weldon of McDonough; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Gary McCullough of Dahlonega; nieces and nephews.

L.D. "Dailey" Selfridge
L.D. "Dailey" Selfridge passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2003, after a battle with cancer.
L.D. was founder and former co-owner of Shamrock Scale Company, Morristown, Tenn., and co-owner of the Hairy Moose Pet Retreat, Gallatin, Tenn. He traveled the Southeast United States selling industrial weighing equipment. He was a very loving father and husband. He was never afraid to show kindness and thoughtfulness toward his family and others. His kindness and his love for animals was evident to all.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21 in the McDonough City Cemetery, McDonough, Ga.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Linda; daughter, Prisi; son, Clay; daughter-in-law, Becky; grandchildren, Zach and Mazie.

Ruby Merline Whitworth Ledbetter
Ruby Merline Whitworth Ledbetter, age 72, of Hampton and formerly of Lawrenceville died Thursday, June 12, 2003.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 15 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Alan T. Wakeman officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Ledbetter and Gary Parsons of McDonough, and Judy Ledbetter and Terrell Brooks of Hampton; brother, Dell Whitworth of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Shannon Walker, Ashley Walker, and Gerald Brooks; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
