Frances O. Harris

Teacher

Frances O. Harris, age 86, of Stockbridge died Sunday, June 22, 2003.

Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 25, 1916, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stockbridge. She was a teacher retired from the Atlanta Public School System, and was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Harris.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 from the Chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Steve Murell and the Rev. Barry Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters, Elaine (Garry) LaFavers of Hampton, and Dr. Phyllis Anne (John Marion) Hadden of McDonough; brother, Dennis Lane Mealor Sr. of Commerce; granddaughter, Christina Allayne Cook of Stockbridge; grandson, Timothy Michael Hadden of Locust Grove; great-grandchildren, Kathryn Frances Cook, Ethan Raleigh Cook, and Elijah Zane Cook, all of Stockbridge, Hope Yvonne Hadden, Hannah Ruth Hadden, and Grace Anne Hadden, all of Locust Grove; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Vicki Scruggs Parker

Vicki Scruggs Parker, age 46, of McDonough died Friday, June 20, 2004.

A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 in the Chapel of Community Bible Church with the Rev. Beau Adams officiating.

Survivors include her son, Chris and Shana Phillips, and daughter, Crystal Johnston, all of Stockbridge; parents, Leon and Hazel Scruggs of McDonough; brothers, Tim Scruggs, Tony Scruggs, and Donnie Scruggs, all of McDonough; grandchildren, Austin and Ashlyn Phillips.
