In the Allen Vigil Ford Pro Late Model 100-lap feature event at Senoia, Ronnie Sanders recorded the fastest qualifying speed then rolled a three on the dice placing him behind Rusty Clanton who started the race from the pole position.
Ronny Kittle started the event along side Clanton on the front row.
When the green flag waved, Clanton jumped out to an early lead, followed by Sanders and Kittle. On lap 6, contact was made between Clanton and Sanders on the front straight-away which resulted in a spin.
When racing resumed, the running order was: Kittle, Wayne Hansard, and Linny Foster.
By lap 18, with Kittle still in the lead, Warren Mobley advanced into the third place position and Bobby East continued in the fifth place position with Sanders moving back into the top five in the fourth place position while Hansard remained in second place.
Sanders advanced into the third place position on lap 20, then into second on lap 30 with Clanton occupying the third place position.
On lap 38, with Kittle still in the lead, a spin occurred in turn one causing front-running contender Warren Mobley to crash his machine having no way to avoid making contact with another machine.
The crash caused considerable damage to Mobley's machine;
However, following attention from his crew, Mobley returned to competition.
On lap 50, Sanders started pressuring Kittle for the lead, and made the pass on lap 54 placing him into the lead position; the running order on lap 54 was: Sanders, Kittle, Clanton and East.
The running order would remain the same until lap 88 when Kittle slipped past Sanders and took back the lead position. Kittle would continue to lead the event and captured the checkered flag; and are considered to be among the top contenders to collect the Bounty money.
In the OPTECH Bandolero feature, Kyle Mitchell started the race from the pole with Jonathan Chandler joining him on the front row.
When the green flag waved, Chandler advanced into the lead position on lap one and went on to take the win.Mike Chambers took the Modified Mini Stock feature and Steven Barker won top honors in the Modified Street Stock feature.
