Louella Clayton, 85, of Stockbridge, died June 29, 2003. She was born in Woodstock, Ga., on Nov. 10, 1917, to the late Henry and Mary Croft Wingfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Clayton, and her son Clifford Eugene (Bo) Clayton.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Clayton and Hazel Clayton, both of Stockbridge; sisters, Inez Clayton of Rome, and Martha Hetherington of Radford, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003, from the chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Charles Clayton officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Bascomb Methodist Church Cemetery in Woodstock. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
