Nellie Moore Mrs. Nellie Moore of Hampton passed away on April 30, 2003. Surviving are her daughter, Goldie O. Combs of Locust Grove; sons, Paul B. Moore Jr. of Lithia Springs, Melvin Moore of Hampton, and Larry Moore of Hampton; sister, Ruby Hanson of Piedmont, Ala.; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hanson officiating. Interment will follow at Noah's Ark Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Moore to Goldie Combs, in care of Pope Dickson & Son, P.O. Box 1016, Jonesboro, GA 30237. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel is in charge of arrangements. (770) 478-7211.More like this story
