Frank W. Scott, 75, of Stockbridge, passed away on May 3, 2003, at Henry Medical Center. He proudly served as a Merchant Marine in WWII. He is survived by his wife Betty A. Scott; children, Linda Castleberry of Morrow, Randy Scott of Marietta, Kim L. Scott of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Christy Vazquez, Sierra Scott, Courtney Scott, Rebecca Scott and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, 2003, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Bowen Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Linda Gail Bruce
Linda Gail Bruce, 59, of Hampton, passed away Friday, May 2, 2003, at Henry Medical Center.
Bruce was born in Henry County on Sept. 25, 1943, to Mrs. Trellis Goodman and the late Frank Goodman. She is also preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Thompson, Diane G. Reid; brothers, Leroy Goodman and Robert Goodman. Bruce was a former 911 dispatcher for Clayton County.
Survivors include husband Charles Kirkland of Ellenwood; daughter, Ladane Bruce of Hampton; son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Susan Bruce of Douglasville; grandchildren, Kristine Bruce, Christopher, Steven and Adam Bruce; sisters Bonnie Corley of Sunnyside, Rita Goodman Howard of Griffin, Lois Rentz of Griffin; brother Ferrell Goodman of Sunnyside; several nieces and nephews; soul mate, Amber Corley; adopted children Charles Kirkland Jr., Tonya Kirkland, Shane Kirkland and Wanda Barnes.
Funeral services were Sunday in the chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Marty Simpson and the Rev. Randy Rivers officiated. Interment followed in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
