From Staff Reports
The Union Grove baseball team broke out its bats Friday night against Decatur and played a game of long-ball en route to a 13-0 victory. Clint Neville's grand slam, Ryan Fawbush's three-run homer and Jason Powell's two-run shot, helped pace the team to the win. Neville just missed hitting for the cycle after also smacking a double and a single. Pitcher Colt Lynn picked up the win from the mound. Union Grove is still trying to make up games because of the rainy weather, and will play at Holy Innocents early today and then return home for a 5 p.m. game. They close out the season at home Monday against Blessed Trinity.More like this story
