Former Jonesboro standout Nikki Hill is now a national champion. Hill, a sophomore at Clark-Atlanta, placed first in the high jump in this past weekend's NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Hill's winning jump was 5 feet, 9 1/4 inches, which gave Clark its first track title in school history. The Division II meet was held at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill. In the team standings, Clark-Atlanta finished 21st. The top team from Georgia was Albany State, which finished 16th.More like this story
