Mary Lucy Bledsoe Mrs. Mary Lucy Bledsoe, age 71, of McDonough passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Cornerstone Health & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Bledsoe was born June 5, 1931, in Henry County to the late John Wilkinson and the late Essie Driver Wilkinson. She was a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She had worked for Jayco Mill in Griffin and Westbury in Jenkinsburg. Cryptside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30 at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Mac Riley officiating. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Virlyn Bledsoe; son and daughter-in-law, David and Patricia Bledsoe of Jackson; daughter, Reba Polk of Forsyth; grandchildren, Jeff Bledsoe, Steven Bledsoe, and Jason Polk; great-grandchildren, Morgan Martin, Hamilton Black, Cayley Bledsoe, and Collin Bledsoe; sister, Pauline Preston of Stockbridge; brother, Jim Wilkinson of Manchester. Friends may visit the family today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough is in charge of arrangements. (770) 914-8833. Joyce Hawkins Joyce Hawkins of Forest Park passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2003. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 30 in the chapel. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Bobby J. Hawkins Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John Stephens; son and daughter-in-law, John and Jan Hawkins Jr.; son, Rick Hawkins; grandchildren, Carey, B.J. III, Jarrod, Jay, and Wes; great grandchildren, Laura, Elizabeth, and Patrick. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 1 till 3 and 6 till 8 p.m..
