James R. Turner

James R. Turner, 62, of McDonough, died Nov. 7, 2003.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Pounds of Hampton; son, Barry Turner of Jonesboro; sister, Margaret Toney; grandchildren, Christina and Christopher of McDonough.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors with the Rev. Hart Pearson officiating. Angel Ward Arrington

Angel Ward Arrington, 46, of Stockbridge, died Nov. 8, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Arrington of Stockbridge; daughter, Heather Arrington of Stockbridge; son, Sgt. John and Amy Webb of Stockbridge; sister, Margaret Garner of Forest Park; brother, Tom and Margaret Ward of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at 11 a.m. from Ward's Fairview Chapel with the Rev. Doug Drucker officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville at 3 p.m. The family received friends on Sunday and will receive friends again on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to Gospel Outreach Church, 134 E. Atlanta Road, Stockbridge, Ga. 30281.

Elizabeth Louise King

Elizabeth Louise King, 72, of Stockbridge, died Nov. 8, 2003. King was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Atlanta, the daughter of the late J.R. and Beulah Nations Lester.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Billy Cannon of Alabaster, Ala.; son, Victor King of Stockbridge; sister, Minnie Lee Alexander of Douglasville; and her bird Tweety.
