Thanks to Northside's 37-16 victory over crosstown rival Warner Robins Friday, Mt. Zion (6-4) will enter the Class AAAAA state playoffs as the No. 4 seed out of Region 2-AAAAA. The Bulldogs will play at unbeaten Camden County (10-0) in next Friday's first round after Camden County wrapped up its regular season with a 19-0 victory over Wayne County. According to the Georgia High School Association bylaws for three-way football tiebreakers, Houston County (7-3) earns the No. 3 seed over Mt. Zion (6-4) and Warner Robins (6-4) because it has the highest win-percentage against Class AAAAA teams. Since Mt. Zion defeated Warner Robins in head-to-head play, the Bulldogs earn the No. 4 seed.More like this story
