H. Glen Brown

H. Glen Brown of Morrow died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Southern Regional Medical Center.

A church service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at Jones United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Candy Thacker and the Rev. Steve Usry officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Brown; daughters, Lynn Breard (John) of Baton Rouge, La., Sally Bostwick (Joe) of McDonough, Janice Tomasello (Robert) of McDonough, H. Glen Brown II (Annette) of Ft. Meyers, Fla., William Brown of Dallas, Ga., and Douglas W. Brown (Mary) of Stockbridge; sisters, Pat Ebarb of W. Monroe, La., and Charlotte Simmons of W. Monroe, La.; brother, Earl Brown of West Monroe, La.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home.

Edna Christine Wade Scott

Mrs. Edna Christine Wade Scott of Hampton died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Pope Dickson & Son Jonesboro Chapel with Chaplain G.W. Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Irma Sue Jackson of Hampton, and Mrs. Sandra Faye Johnson of Guyton; sons, Mr. George W. Wade of Livingston, Texas, Mr. James David Wade of Hampton, Mr. John Ellis Wade of Mansfield, Mr. Raymond Scott of Stockbridge, Mr. Waynard Scott of Guyton; brother, Mr. David Carlton Hale of Dallas; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
