Palmer R. Bell

Palmer R. Bell, 80, of Forest Park passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2003.

Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Army in World War II, and was the owner and operator of Bell's Auto Parts on Jonesboro Road in Forest Park for 58 years. He was a NASCAR driver in the 1950s.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 in the chapel of Pope Dickson Funeral Home in Morrow with the Rev. Eddie Roland and Susan Bareon officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park City Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughters, Pamela L. King of Locust Grove, Eleanor Bowden of Jackson, Patsy Brown of Jackson, Cathy Lentz of McDonough, and Donna Bell of Jonesboro; son, Jeffery Bell of Forest Park; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Lillie Pritchett

Lillie Pritchett, 76, of Temple, Ga. and formerly of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Forest Park.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 in the chapel of Pope Dickson Funeral Home in Morrow, with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne King of Villa Rica; sons, Danny Pritchett of Temple and Gary Pritchett of Forest Park; grandsons, Wayne King of Villa Rica and Gene King of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandson, Ryan King; sister, Mary Ellen Gollahon of Rome.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today.
