Mary DuBell

Mary DuBell of Forest Park died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at Peachtree Christian Hospice.

Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens for interment.

Survivors include her spouse, Eugene DuBell; daughter, Sherry Bright and spouse George of New Orleans, La.; brothers, Gilbert Kinnaird and spouse Olga of Cookville, Tenn, and Kenneth Kinnaird and spouse Ann of Charlotte, N.C.; sister-in-law, Gladys Kinnaird of Cookville; grandchildren, Starbuck Bright and spouse Heather of Pensacola, Fla., Yancy Bright and fianc?e Gina Palmisano of New Orleans; several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Herbert Kinnaird, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today.

David Lee Jones

David Lee Jones, 56, of Griffin, passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003.

Mr. Jones served his country in the U.S. Army.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Sherwood Memorial Park, with the Rev. Daryel O'Barr officiating.

Survivors include his sons, David Allen Jones of McDonough and Allan Lee Jones of Barnesville; sisters, Wilma Duff of Lebanon, Ind., Nancy Singleton of Indianapolis, Ind., Kaye Scheffler of Fishers, Ind., Diane Fletcher of Indianapolis, Ind., Susie Nolte of Greenwood, Ind., Robin Odle of Noblesville, Ind., and Pat Jones of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Gary Jones of Newcastle, Ind., Bob Jones of Fairview Heights, Ind., Jimmy Jones of Kuttawa, Ky., Ray Jones of Jamestown, Ind., Rick Jones of Dunbarton, N.H., and John Jones of Lebanon, Ind.; grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, and Alexis Jones, and two special twins on the way. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, and ex-wife, Linda Lou Jones.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grady Allen Quick

Veteran

Mr. Grady Allen Quick, age 85, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at his residence.

Mr. Quick was born in Coweta County Aug. 2, 1918, to the late Jesse Lee Quick and the late Ludie Mae Bunn Quick. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Smith, grandson, David Davis, granddaughter, Sonya Smith, brothers, Harvey L. Quick, Loyd C. Quick, and James F. Quick. He was a retired sawmill owner. He was a member of the Teamon Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 in the Chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, with Dr. Lavon Womack officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Family Cemetery in Lovejoy.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Geneva Turner Quick; daughters, Florene Davis of Senoia, Barbara Leverette of Jonesboro, Brenda Tillman of Macclenny, Fla., and Linda Smith of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sister, Mattie E. Crowley of Griffin; brother, Vinson A. Quick of Barnesville; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
