Louvale Landrum Deyton Retired Louvale Landrum Deyton, age 66, of Hampton, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003. Mrs. Deyton retired from Clayton County Permits and Licenses Department. She was a member of the Riverdale Chapter Eastern Star and Harps Crossing Baptist Church. Her husband, Robert A. "Bob" Deyton, former sheriff of Clayton County, preceded her in death. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Fayetteville First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Watson and the Rev. Ken Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her children, Mike Deyton of Jacksonville, Fla., Mark and Patsy Deyton of Fayetteville, Melanie and Anthony Brooks of Fayetteville, Marlon and Lynn Deyton of McDonough, and Missy and Paul Barnes of Hampton; 13 grandchildren; stepchildren, Norris and Melanie Deyton of Brooks, and Lamar and Shirley Walden of Tyrone; one niece; one nephew. Vera Elizabeth Neal Homemaker Mrs. Vera Elizabeth Neal of Jonesboro and formerly of Rex died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Stockbridge. Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 in the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Murrell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her sister, Vinnie Lee Mattke of McDonough; 14 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; several great, great nieces and nephews.
