It's spring break this week and local soccer teams are taking a break this week too. Most teams will get back into action next week and here is a glance at how Clayton teams are doing: The Forest Park boys and girls have completed their seasons. The Forest Park boys finished the 2004 season with an overall record of 3-8-2 and an Area 4-AAAA record of 1-7-1. The Lady Panthers finished at 2-6-2 overall and 0-5 in the area. The Jonesboro girls are currently tied with Eagle's Landing for the top spot in Area 2-AAAAA. The Lady Cardinals are 7-3-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the area. They have won three straight, including a 1-0 victory over Warner Robins last Friday. They get back in action Tuesday at home against Spalding. The Jonesboro boys are 7-2-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the area. The Cardinals lost to Warner Robins 1-0 last Friday and travel to Cross Creek on Tuesday. The Morrow boys are 2-6-3 overall and 0-5-2 in Area 2-AAAAA. The Mustangs lost 4-0 to Eagle's Landing on March 30 and play at Stockbridge next Thursday. The Morrow girls are 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the area. The Lady Mustangs have lost four straight including a 7-0 loss to Eagle's Landing last Wednesday. They play host to Stockbridge next Thursday. The Mt. Zion boys are 2-8-1 overall and 1-6 in Area 2-AAAAA while the girls are 0-14 overall and 0-8 in the area. Mt. Zion plays at Westside-Macon Tuesday. The Mundy's Mill boys at 3-7 overall and 2-5 in Area 4-AAAAA. The Tigers have won two straight including a 5-1 victory over Carver-Columbus last Thursday. The Mundy's Mill girls are 3-10 overall and 1-6 in the area. Mundy's Mill gets back into action next Wednesday at Fayette County. The North Clayton boys are 1-6 overall and 0-6 in Area 4-AAAA. The Eagles play at Woodward next Thursday. The North Clayton girls are 0-6 overall and 0-5 in the area. They play at Riverdale next Friday. The Riverdale girls are 4-0-1 in their last five games to bring their overall record to 5-6-1. They are 2-4 in Area 4-AAAAA. The Riverdale boys are 2-8-1 overall and 1-5 in the area. Both squads get back into action next Friday against county rival North Clayton.More like this story
