John W. Campbell Veteran John W. Campbell of Morrow died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. John was born March 28, 1924, in Ila, Ga. to a family of six boys. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served the United States of America for 20 years to include duties in World War II and Korea. After retiring from the Army, John was a small business manager and owner until 1989. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lydia Campbell; son, Mark Campbell; daughters, Tiia Campbell, Ingrid Brown and Kristen Campbell. Friends may visit the family from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pope Dickson and Son, Morrow Chapel is in charge of arrangements. (770) 961-2700.More like this story
