William F. Duncan

William F. "Bill" Duncan, 73, of Hampton, died Friday, April 9, 2004.

He is survived by his wife Beverly; children Bill and Janet Duncan of Monument, Colo., Mike and Denise Duncan of Conyers, Beth Duncan of Covington, Billy and Janice Morris of Fayetteville, Mike Morris of Hampton, Russell and Beth Smith of Griffin, Mike and Teresa Meason of McDonough; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Dr. Dean Haun and Dr. George Worrell will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 12, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Albert Thompson

Albert (Al) Thompson, 83, of Jenkinsburg, died April 9, 2004.

Thompson was a World War II veteran. He is survived by wife Freda Thompson of Jenkinsburg; daughters Shirley and Daniel Campbell of Jenkinsburg, Sheila and Michael Mines of McDonough; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nephew Rev. Terry McDaniel.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 12, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at Ward's Fairview Chapel with the Rev. Steve Reeves officiating. Interment will be in Christian Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday and Sunday.

Thomason Sr.

William Harold Thomason Sr., 64, of McDonough, died April 10, 2004, at Emory University Hospital.

Thomason was born Nov. 9, 1939, in Gwinnett County, the son of the late Willie Mae Blackburn and Myra Delmar Thomason. He was a member of New Testament Community Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Bingheim Thomason of McDonough; children Bill and Karen Thomason of McDonough, Joe and Ashley Thomason of Dawsonville, and Robbie and Lexy Thomason of Dayton, Ohio; brother Robert Thomason of Lawrenceville; sisters Marie Brumbalow of Lawrenceville and Inez Atchley of Lawrenceville; grandchildren Ashley Reeves, Abby Thomason, Aaron Thomason, Andrew Thomason, Brent Thomason, Brittney Thomason, Katie Thomason, Joey Thomason, Amber Owensby and Destin Thomason.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Reeves officiating. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Levi Troy Thorne and Luke James Thorne

Levi Troy Thorne and Luke James Thorne, twin sons of Mike and Lynn Thorne, died April 9, 2004. Graveside services will be April 12, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Andrew Ragan will officiate.

Survivors other than their parents include brother Michael Thorne; sister Lyndsey Thorne; grandparents Troy and Janice Jackson of Stockbridge and James and Maurine Thorne of Eufaula, Ala.

Elton C. Mills Sr.

Elton C. Mills Sr., 85, died April 11, 2004, at his residence in Stockbridge.

He was born June 2, 1918, in Johnson County, Ga.

Services will be Tuesday, April 13, at Fairview Chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Al Hagan officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 12, 2004, at Ward's Fairview Chapel.

Survivors include wife Minnie Mills of Stockbridge; daughters Betty Hill of Ellenwood, Linda Moon of Stockbridge, Janet Holtcamp of Jackson, Deborah Mullins of Stockbridge; sons Doyle Mills of Franklin, N.C., Clyde Mills Jr. of Jackson, Ronnie Mills of Stockbridge; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
