Helen Buie, age 83, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004.
Mrs. Buie was born in Mountain View, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dixon Buie.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Fayette Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Black officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Memorial Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Marlynn Buie Jones and husband Kenneth of Jonesboro and Joyce Buie Bridges Paul and husband Rhett of McDonough; son, C. Morton Buie of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Norma Buie Mahaffee of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jennifer M. and Mark Prichard of Calhoun, Ga., Travers D. and Rebecca Jones of Tucker, Ga., LeeAnn A. Jones of Jonesboro, Ga., Lynda M. Stanley of Signal Mountain, Tenn., David Buie of Denver, Colo., Joseph Buie of Atlanta, Ga. and Julie Buie of Birmingham; great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Mr. John T. Hall Jr., age 69 of Rex, Ga., died Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
Funeral services will take place Saturday, April 24 at 2 p.m. from Ward's Fairview Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by wife, Anita Hall of Rex; sons, John T. and Brenda Hall III of Loganville, Ga. and Richard W. Hall of Rex; daughter, Kathy and Truett Honeycutt of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Connie Bickers, Jason Hall, Amanda Hall, Bradley Honeycutt, Madison Hall and Kimberly McGuire; great-grandson, Camren Thomas Hall; mother, Carrie Hall of Rex; brothers, Paul E. Hall of Atlanta, and Jerry W. Hall of Tucker; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Joy Lynn Stephens, age 40, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
Funeral services will be conducted graveside at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Stephens of Forest Park; sons, William James and Andrew Jeremy Stephens, both of Forest Park; mother, Barbara Thornton of Jonesboro; sisters, Connie Webster of Snellville and Theresa Dickerson of Alburn; brothers, Michael and Tommy Thornton of Jonesboro and Patrick Thornton of Lawrenceville.
