Mrs. Sarah Bowen Clark, 81, died Friday, April 23, 2004.

Mrs. Clark was born in Haralson County on Aug. 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Walter Emerson Bowen and Mary Ruth Hurst Bowen. She and Lewis Eugene Clark were married Jan. 11, 1944. They lived in Forest Park for 41 years before returning to Carroll County in 1992. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star Chapter 290 and the First Baptist Church in Forest Park.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Eugene Clark; daughters and son-in-law, Pat Clark of Carrollton, Debbie and Jerry Honeycutt of Jonesboro; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Norton, Ruth and Carlos Fuller of Carrollton; grandchildren, Kim (Bobby) Stevens, Jason (Stephanie) Honeycutt, Karen (Travis) Solock, Kevin (Dusty) Honeycutt; great-grandchildren, Beth Stevens, John Stevens, Riley Solock, and Aidan Honeycutt; and longtime family friend, Cecelia Durish, Carrollton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 25, 2004, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with the Rev. W.O. Wallis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Honeycutt, Jason Honeycutt, Kevin Honeycutt, Travis Solock, Bobby Stevens and John Fuller. Interment will be in West Georgia Memorial Park.
