Matt Murton hasn't missed a beat since switching teams.
The former Eagle's Landing High School and Georgia Tech standout began his minor league baseball career at Sarasota in the Boston Red Sox organization after completing his junior season at Tech.
Murton recently became property of the Chicago Cubs organization as part of the Nomar Garciaparra trade and is now playing at Daytona Beach, the Cubs' Class A affiliate.
In his first five games, Murton is hitting .350 with seven hits and two RBIs.
Kyle Davies the former Stockbridge High School pitcher is finding success with the Greenville Braves. Davies, who joined the Braves straight out of high school, has progressed through the ranks every year. Although he started the year in Rome, Davies earned a promotion to the Brave' Double-A squad by tallying a low earn run average.
Through seven games with Greenville, Davies is 3-0 with a 3.23 ERA.
As he has done throughout his career, Davies has displayed great control, striking out 45 and walking 13.
Jason Perry has rediscovered his offense with the Modesto Athletics. The former Jonesboro and Georgia Tech product is batting .346 with 61 hits. He also had displayed plenty of power for the Class A squad, smashing 19 homers.
Trae Wiggins, who split his high school baseball between Stockbridge and Mt. Zion Christian Academy, is 0-2 with the Braves' rookie squad in Orlando.
Wiggins has struck out 20 and walked 14 in seven games.
Wiggins played college baseball at Brewton-Parker College.
