Ray A. King

Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Ray A. King, 65, of Forest Park passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 from Parkway Garden Chapel.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Annette (Goss) King; children, daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Byron Fallaw, son and daughter-in-law, Ray Jr. and Ricka King, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Sexton; grandchildren, Ben Sexton, Jonathan King, Kyle King, Matt Sexton, Jacob King, Blake Sexton, Randy Fallaw, Cody Fallaw, and Katrina King; mother, Christine King of Peachtree City; two brothers; three sisters; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit King.

Charles V. "Tater" Waller

Mr. Charles V. "Tater" Waller, 69, of Stockbridge, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at the Sacred Journey Hospice in Stockbridge.

Mr. Waller was born July 25, 1935, in Spalding County, son of the late John Warren Waller and the late Opal Payne Waller. He was a retired Police Captain for the Department of Defense. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW for more than 50 years, and was a Mason. He loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by brothers Sam Waller and John Waller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 in the Warren Haisten Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles W. Waller officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Waller; children, Charles W. and Valerie Waller of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., Colleen W. and James Nix of Hanahan, S.C., David and Susan Thompson of Locust Grove, Don Wesley Thompson of East Point, Judy and Buddy Upchurch of McDonough, Jane and D.L. Evans of Stockbridge, David Southard of North Charleston, S.C. and Carl Southard, also of North Charleston; sister, Maurine Banks of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alyson Waller, Kirstyn Waller , Carrie Upchurch, Sean Upchurch, Hollie Snow and Bryan Snow. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
