Mrs. LaRue Clotfelter, 78, of McDonough, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 24 from Ward's Fairview Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by husband, Lamar Clotfelter; children, Joyce Ann and Terry Cheney of Jonesboro, Mark and Gloria Clotfelter of Alpharetta, and Susan Estes of McDonough; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. John Quinton Denney, 85, of Forest Park, passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004.

Sarah Ann Dickson
Sarah Ann Dickson, 87, of Hampton, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004.
She was the widow of the late Col. Donald Dean Dickson. Mrs. Dickson was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Smyrna.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton, with the Rev. Jay Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at the funeral home.

Dr. William T. Hays Jr.
Dr. William T. Hays Jr., 77, went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, Aug. 21, 2004.
Dr. Hays faithfully served over 50 years in the ministry, after serving his country in the Navy during World War II. In 1969, Dr. Hays became the Pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church and served there until his retirement in 1989. Though he retired from the pastorate, he did not retire from the ministry. Over the past 15 years he served as Associate Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, served as interim pastor of two churches, and helped start a Bible college in the country of Moldova.
During his years as pastor he was involved in many activities in the community and throughout the world. He was a Chaplain of Southern Regional Hospital for more than 10 years. Dr. Hays had a heart for missions and started Faith Promise Programs, which helped raise financial support for missionaries around the world. He had many opportunities to visit them in such places as Cuba, Indonesia, China, Peru, Moldova and Russia. Only the Lord knows how many lives Dr. Hays touched during his lifetime.
The funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Bible Baptist Church in Hampton. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rachel Hays; sister, Anita O'Neal; daughters, Laura Pokorski and Kathy Hays; son, Nathan Hays; grandchildren, Jonathan Johnson, Brittany Hays and Andrew Hays.

Irma Jacqueline "Jackie" Land Lowder
Irma Jacqueline "Jackie" Land Lowder, 63, of Riverdale, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Fayette Community Hospital following her battle with breast cancer.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and a teacher at Jonesboro Middle School.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 24 at The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Worship Center. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Dr. Charles Q. Carter and Dr. Dean Haun will officiate. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park.
