A Jonesboro woman was arrested after her ex-boyfriend and a witness told police that she tried to run over him with her truck. Lisa Michelle Taylor, 23, of Briar Creek Lane, was charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespass in connection with the incident, according to a Clayton County police report. Around 10 p.m. Tuesday Taylor confronted her ex-boyfriend, 29-year-old ThomasVincent, at a residence on English Road near Hampton where they both used to live and where Vincent still lives. Vincent and the woman who owns the house and rents a room to Vincent both told her to go. At one point they looked outside and saw Taylor scratching the landlady's car with a key, so they went outside to tell her to leave, according to the report. Taylor then allegedly got into her Nissan Exterra and tried several times to run over Vincent, according to what Vincent and the landlady told police. She eventually crashed her vehicle into a tree and disabled it. Taylor told police she was trying to scare Vincent.More like this story
