A Morrow man is in critical condition after being shot several times in a Forest Park hotel room. Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, police found 26-year-old Demetrios Eugene Alexander in a room at the Travel Lodge on Old Dixie Highway, according to Clayton County Police Officer Mark Vest. One of the bullet wounds was a shot to Alexander's head. Alexander was taken to Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale and then flown to Atlanta Medical Center where he was on life support, according to Clayton County Police Capt. Jeff Turner. Turner said police do not know the motive for the shooting. A small amount of marijuana was found in the room.More like this story
