So I am writing this column in advance of going to Dublin, Ireland, on an eight-day vacation. And so, by the time you read this I will be only days away from wrapping up the visit.

Victoria is a 2 1/2-year-old tortie domestic shorthair. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Victoria is a long-term resident at the Clayton County Humane Society shelter.
