Elaine B. Wilson Elaine B. Wilson, 85, of Ellenwood, passed away Dec. 18, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Thelma Rigdon, of Martin, and Beatrice Dobson, of Griffin; brother, Jack Blalock, of Greenwood, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at Pope Dickson & Son Morrow Chapel, with Dr. Jerry R. Patterson officiating, and interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Pope Dickson & Son Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Morrow Chapel (770) 961-2700. Dale D. French Dale D. French, 70, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Portsbridge Hospice. Mr. French was born March 15, 1934, in Anoka County, Minn., to the late James Albert French. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver. He loved camping, fishing and tinkering with cars. Survivors include his wife, Emma French; mother, Lois French, of Andover, Minn.; children and their spouses, Blenda Laird, of Cedartown, Terri Crowe, of Kennesaw, Toni and Mike Askew, of Locust Grove, Thomas Minardo, of Jackson, Cathy and Jose Rivera, of Kingwood, Texas, Gregg and Paige French, of Acworth, Peggy Leon, of Acworth, Sasha and David Flickinger, of Woodbridge, Va.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kathy French, of Ramsey, Minn. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park, Friends may visit the family today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
