Fairrice Kilgore "Wassie" Hendricks

Mrs. Fairrice Kilgore "Wassie" Hendricks, 81, of McDonough, Ga. died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004.

The daughter of the late Marvin Thomas and Myrtie Irene Hulsey Kilgore, she was born Aug. 8, 1923, in Braselton, Ga. Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Andrew Hendricks, Sr. who was the founder of Archie's Sporting Goods in Stockbridge. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who dedicated her entire life to her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie and Terry Woodie of McDonough; son, Andy Hendricks of McDonough; grandchildren, Chad and Laura Woodie of Locust Grove, Scott and Anne Woodie of McDonough, and Kim Woodie of McDonough; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Madison and Mason Woodie; sister, Patsy and George Palmer of Gainesville, Ga.; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at the chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors, with the Rev. Scott Reece officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 21st from 12:00 noon until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, 770-914-1414.

Serving as pallbearers were Matt Morris, Josh Morris, Tom Satterley, Gary Jordan, Daniel Moore and Brandon Shepard.

The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Monticello Presbyterian Church, 246 E. Washington St., Monticello, GA 31064.

Ovagene H. Jackson

Ovagene H. Jackson, 78, of Jonesboro passed away Dec. 19, 2004.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Anne Seabolt of Jonesboro, Patricia Minor of Alpharetta and Norma Patton of Locust Grove; one son, Robert Earl Jackson of Troup County; one brother, James Mac Hightower of Peachtree City; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 22 at Pope Dickson & Son Morrow Chapel, with Pastor Joey Seabolt officiating. The interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
