Nancy L. Elrod

Mrs. Nancy L. Elrod of Fayetteville died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004.

Mrs. Elrod was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park and volunteered at Southern Regional Medical Hospital as a Pink Lady for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Elrod, and daughter, Marie Elaine Elrod.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 at First Baptist Church of Forest Park, with the Rev. Paul Robins officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William Randolph and Helen Elrod of Winter Haven, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Steven Tafoya of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Robert and John Elrod.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bruce Eugene Henry

Bruce Eugene Henry, 68, of Riverdale, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004.

Mr. Henry is a 1965 graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, Calif. He later accepted a position as Photographer for Delta Airlines, Atlanta, Ga. in November, 1968. He enjoyed 25 wonderful and productive years until his retirement in November, 1993. Mr. Henry was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Riverdale for many years, during which time he was a Sunday school teacher, a head Elder and board member. In his spare time he communed with the Lord by growing a fabulous array of fruits and vegetables. Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Nina Henry, and also by his brother, Gerald Robert Henry.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Riverdale.

Survivors include is loving wife, Barbara Linda Henry; daughters, Cynthia Jean Henry of Hampton and Pamela Ann Lanning of Wake Forest, N.C.; son, Gerald Robert Henry of Locust Grove; brother, Kenneth R. Henry of Davis, Calif.; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Rochester, Joshua Allen Rochester and Jamie Allen Palmer.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations are made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080, or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, located at 377 Valley Hill Road, Riverdale, GA 30274.
