Law enforcement agents have arrested a man accused of holding his wife and two teens hostage. Robert Bruce Green, 47, was found around 11:30 a.m. Friday at the house on Tilden Avenue in Jonesboro that he used to share with his wife Sharon Green, Clayton County Police Capt. Jeff Turner said. Robert Green reportedly confronted his estranged wife at the house around noon Thursday and had her call Nequavius McMichael and Ricky Timmons Jr., both 17, to the house. He held them at gunpoint and interrogated McMichael and Timmons, accusing them of having an affair with Sharon Green. Eventually McMichael escaped and ran to a nearby middle school for help and Timmons was released. Robert Green forced Sharon Green and their 2-year-old son to come with him to the place he was staying in Forest Park for more bullets for his gun. When they returned to the house and saw police around the school, Robert Green got out of the car and ran. Members of the Clayton County Sheriff's Office fugitive squad participated in the arrest.More like this story
