Thomas E. Eady

Thomas E. Eady, 87, formerly of Conyers, passed away on February 14, 2004 in McDonough.

A native of LaGrange, Ga., Mr. Eady was retired from Kerns Furniture. He was the owner of Rainbow Florist in Conyers, worked for Wilson Welding and Stacey's Auto Parts. Mr. Eady was a member of Conyers Presbyterian Church. He also attended St. Joseph's Episcopal Church and The Ole Country Church in McDonough and was a 32nd degree Mason.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert Eady and brother Jesse Eady, sister, Helen Mounter.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Eady of McDonough; daughters, Sandy and Jerry Richardson of Stockbridge, Cindy and Wayne Russano of McDonough; grandchildren, Jeannie Edwards, Lea Wilhelm. Drew Sparks; four great-grandchildren, Sister Edna Blissett.

The family will receive friends at Horis Ward's Olde Town Chapel on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Ward's Olde Town Chapel. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Horis A. Ward's Olde Town Chapel n (770) 483-7208.

Joseph E. Little

Mr. Joseph Edward (Joe) Little, age 64, of Little Road, Hampton, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the Henry Medical Center.

Mr. Little was born September 21, 1939 in Henry County to the late Alba Little and the late Evelyn Cower Little. Mr. Little was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Little. Mr. Little was retired from Delta Air Lines. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and a member of Eagles Way church in Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Donna G. Little; children, Tammy and Nathan Mixon of Williamson, Todd and Jeannie Little of Senoia. Tracy and Shana Little of Hampton; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Margie Little of Hampton, Johnny and Betty Little of Jonesboro, Charles and Betty Little of Hampton; Richard and Joetta Little of Hampton, and Steve and Janice Little of Hampton; sister, June Taylor of Jackson; sister-in-law, Betty Little of Hampton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Joe Little will be conducted Monday, February 16, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Eagles Way Church, 100 Hudson Road, Griffin. The Rev. Buren Goss and the Rev. Keith Wesley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Methodist Cemetery in Hampton. Visitation so friends could visit the family was held Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Little will be carried to the church to lie in state one hour prior to the service.
