William Nolen Foster Sr.

Mr. William Nolen Foster Sr. of Stockbridge died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at First Baptist Church of Forest Park, with Brother Ron Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Emma; son, William (Bill) Nolen Foster Jr. and wife Carole of Roswell; daughters and sons-in-law, Becki and Dean Morgan of Stockbridge, Keli and Don Stowell of Acworth and Lori Foster of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Tess and Tyler Stowell and Will and Maci Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, any financial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Forest Park in memory of Mr. Foster.

Betty Louise Davis Powell

Nurse

Mrs. Betty Louise Davis Powell of Forest Park died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.

Mrs. Powell was a member of First Baptist Forest Park and V.I.P. Club. Mrs. Powell retired from the U.S. Army as a registered nurse after 24 years of service.

Funeral services will take place at noon today, Friday, Feb. 20 at First Baptist Forest Park, with the Rev. Chad Ellis and the Rev. John Garland officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by a husband of nearly 19 years, Jack Powell; cousins, Dorothy of Ohio and Helen Garland of Locust Grove; several nieces and nephews.

Helen "Jean" Terry

Mrs. Helen "Jean" Terry of Ellenwood died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Harvel Terry, and two sons, Bobby and Doug Terry.

Funeral services took place Thursday, Feb. 19 at the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, with the Rev. Frank Powers officiating. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Linda T. and Dennis McElwaney of Tyrone, Wayne and Teresa Terry of Ellenwood and David and Charlotte Terry of McDonough; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Betty and Bob Bowers of Riverdale; brothers, Byron and Myrtice Dailey of Conyers and Chester and Merle Dailey of Barnesville; nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives.

The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m.
