Clayton County police arrested a man following a pursuit that ended with the suspect crashing a truck into a house and attempting to flee on foot.

According to reports, police arrested Roy Kaleb Pendarvis, 32, of Atlanta, for improperly displaying tags, driving while his license is suspended and reckless driving.

An officer attempted to stop Pendarvis Thursday night, noticing that the tag on the trailer he was towing was hanging off, according to reports. Pendarvis then fled on Ga. Highway 54, hitting a parked 1995 Ford Mustang in the parking lot of Phillips 66 and continuing to evade police.

After a pursuit into Atlanta and through Forest Park, the suspect slowed down, jumped out of the still moving car and tried to escape on foot, the reports stated. The truck Pendarvis was driving careened into a house on John Arnold Circle. He was caught after a brief chase on foot. The tags on the 1992 GMC Sonoma truck were stolen, according to reports.
