Bolton Hall Jr.

Bolton Hall Jr., age 79, of Milton, Fla. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 from the chapel of the Donnie Sowell Funeral Home in Milton, Fla., with the Rev. Donald Leavins officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1 at the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Howell Hall; children, Bolton "Tony" (Beverly) Hall III, Reba (Ben) Gatlin and Clark (Susan) Hall; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Bolton was the oldest of eight children and is survived by sisters Mildred Darnold, Barbara Kennedy and Oleta Owens; brothers, Edward Hall and Robert Hall. Bolton was preceded in death by his parents, Bolton and Gladys Hall of Grady, Ala., a brother, George Hall, and sister, Roberta Russell.

Thelma Waldrip Stephens

Homemaker

Mrs. Thelma Waldrip Stephens, age 91, of 711 Beeks Road, Williamson and formerly of Pine Grove Road, Riverdale passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at the Riverdside Nursing Center in Thomaston.

She was a homemaker and a member of Lisbon Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Mrs. Stephens was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clark Waldrip and Mary Elizabeth Patterson Waldrip, a son, Henry Eugene Stephens, a granddaughter, Sue Ward, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 30 in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Martha Stephens of Riverdale; sister, Evelyn Hughes of Cordele; grandchildren, Danny Stephens of Dallas, Gerrie Jarrett of Cartersville, Bill Stephens of Cartersville, Regina Foster of Stockbridge, Linda Gregg of Williamson and Robert Stephens Jr. of Griffin; numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
